StartSmart SEE

Description

Building on the successful heritage of the MIT Enterprise Forum Greece, StartSmart South Eastern Europe stands as a beacon of innovation and technology entrepreneurship. Since our inception in 2013 by a group of visionary entrepreneurs and business leaders, we've embarked on a decade-long journey of empowering over 220 startups. These ventures have collectively secured upwards of $300 million in funding, a testament to their transformative potential and the robust support ecosystem we provide.

A hallmark of our commitment to fostering regional growth was hosting the prestigious MIT Global Startup Workshop in 2023. This event spotlighted our community's dynamic capabilities and underscored our role as a catalyst for entrepreneurial success.

In a significant stride forward, 2023 also marked our integration into the MIT-JWEL network as Innovation Members and the launch of the StartSmart SEE brand. This expansion extends our influence across South Eastern Europe, bridging local innovators with global opportunities. Our collaboration with MIT Open Learning and the MIT-JWEL offers unparalleled access to cutting-edge resources and expertise. This synergy enhances our programs, connects our startups with a worldwide network of experts and innovators, and solidifies our dedication to advancing technology entrepreneurship in the region.

At StartSmart SEE, we're not just accelerating startups; we're igniting a movement of innovation and progress across South Eastern Europe. Join us on this exciting journey to redefine the future of technology and entrepreneurship.
